Yeah, I would definitely look for a local charity/person who could use it directly first but if that fails/you don't have the time, I would consider contacting Giveacar.
I know they mainly accept donations of cars, but worth a try as it is free to use them and they have donated random things before.

I would advertise and sell it and put the money away - you will need it to help pay for the Nursing Home0

Google for a church that runs a lunch club for elderly people. They will know loads of old dears who'd love that. Or if there's a Lions charity - they do lots of work taking people out in minibuses that have mobility issues, so will also know loads of people.0
