  • How is your WAP set up? Is it using dial-up or GPRS? Your 1MB allowance will be for GPRS. If it says it's dialling a number when you connect, it's using dial-up.

You should be able to find the correct settings on the O2 web site. You don't say what kind of phone you have, but manufacturers' sites often have the correct settings for each provider. These can often be sent to you by SMS so that all you have to do is save them when they arrive.

I wouldnt bother with the GPRS on the V220, its such a rubbishy phone. The WAP also never works. The best place for the V220 is the bin. I had one and got rid of it very promptly.

Heres a few phones ive had (and liked) ..... Nokia 6630, Samsung D600, Nokia 6230i. Another one to consider is the LG Chocolate (ive heard its good, but havent used it). I think my fave has to be the Nokia 6630. Its rather ugly but it works well!
