    Please don't laugh - I am not making this up - a local car dealer had good success keeping the pigeons away from his sales yard by buying a couple of plastic owls about a foot tall and putting them on sticks out in the yard!!

    Not sure if the pigeons wise up in due course, but it might work, and you might just set a whole new trend in balcony decoration....:rotfl:

    Plus of course you wouldn't have to keep buying ammunition, and it's a silent solution too!!

    Laugh , never , I tried the plastic owl a few years ago . Couple three doors down had a dove cott, soon the birds were roosting everywhere , the owls did the job!
