My dad works for a council carpetting and tiling. He has a smart phone (can't remember what) all his work is assigned to him by that, and he gets updates and change via it.
It probably is more efficient than having to go collect a job sheet each day from the depot and call for updates when he has done each one, but he dislikes it as he often can't get a signal and missed updates.
I suspect someone in the back office thought it was a good idea but didn't consider the end users.0 -
