    Off the top of my head, you just pour about an inch of water in the slow cooker and stand the pudding basin on a biscuit cooker(or similar) to raise it off the bottom of the pot.Put it on low for about 8 hours.

    You don't need to be in the house when it's cooking and the house doesn't get all steamed up.

    Any chance of the recipe please Scuzz?

    I had one for a pudding like this, but have lost it somewhere:beer:
    I don't like the 'modern' pudding recipes, their too light.

    I shall have to ask my Nan if she's happy for the secret to be spread!!! I don't even know the full recipe and I'm family!!!!!!

    I do know about potatoes, carrots, suet, saltanas and raisons and booze. But there's about a million ingredients!!
