Northern Ireland Delivery Charges

An excellent idea!! This is my first post here, and I have some for you to add to the list:
Red - https://www.lxdirect.co.uk (who told me they couldn't deliver to NI)
https://www.nurseryandtoys.co.uk - £25 surcharge!
https://www.babydaysdirect.co.uk - £5.50 surcharge.
And some Green - https://www.hawkinsbazaar.co.uk
and https://www.newcron.com - they charge postage by weight, and I've not been charged extra so far!!!

Good luck with the site - I'll definately check it before buying!

Odd - Ive ordered from them about 1 year ago and was not surcharged - 2 berghaus fleeces cost about 3.50 postage

It seems lxdirect can't deliver to certain NI addresses (as well as some islands and remote areas of GB). Seems a bit of a postcode lottery as to whether or not they want your business. See the link - the relevant bit is in the section with blue background:

lxdirect ive left out for now as they are in the amber camp (and i dont have an amber list) - dont surcharge for some areas and dont deliver to others.....

Nurseryandtoys - while it does say on their site that they charge more for non-mainland UK deliveries, I ordered some stuff last week and was just charged their usual delivery of £4.95... Very quick delivery too...

Red List - https://www.donaldrussell.com sells steak and high quality food - adds £7 surcharge for Northern Ireland (among others). But the stuff is lovely (if you like steak). It is based in Aberdeenshire, and also imposes this surcharge for "Highlands and Islands"! Now that would seriously tick me off if I lived in Scotland.
They had an introductory offer recently giving free P&P but didn't charge the surcharge - I'm not complaining mind, but what is that all about?

RED - https://www.iwantoneofthose.com seem to have increased Northern Ireland delivery charges to £15.95 by Parceline. Not paying that!
