Best SIM only Deal for Mins, Texts and Internet?
Hi there, Just coming to the end of my 18 month contract with vodafone. Have a Nokia e71 which is still working fine, so looking at getting a sim only deal. Would ideally just like a month contract so I can get out of quickly as I may need a new phone soon and quite fancy an iphone. Just wondered what the best deals are around? Use approx 200mins, 200 text and unlmited internet. Thanks

how is the network? i dont know anyone on giffgaff. is it only good around london or is it ok out in the sticks in yorkshire too! just wondering if you know many people on giffgaff and how the network is around the uk from customer experience rather than what the network coverage checker says.bubblesmoney :hello:0 -

From their website, totally unlimited with no FUP, or at least I couldn't find a mention of it anywhere. Read their Price Guide and FAQ. They use O2 network, have a look on the their forum regarding feedback. Support is done via the community forums and everything is done online. Its how they keep it cheap. I don't know anyone that uses them personally, but I might try them out once my contract is up. You don't lose anything by trying them out, its a PAYG service. If its not for you, you can just move, no tie in.0 -
I'm using giffgaff atm, no fup on sms or inernet as long as it's not for tethering or using it as a business sim etc
Support is online but they also have staff that you can send questions and requests to
A better deal than I get with o2 payg and also has contract perks like call waiting/call diversion which not a lot of payg networks offer0 -

Isn't the internet only included free until the end of June though?0 -

That is correct. Everyone gets free internet until June before they begin charging. If you signed up when they first started up, you would have had 6 months free internet, but now its May you have 1 month to try it out before you have to pay. Then you'll have to buy a goodbag (30 days) for unlimited internet just like SimOnly or be charged at their standard rates just like PAYG.0
