I have two accounts on my computer, both administrators, and when I run Malwarebytes as the main user it takes about an hour, but if I run it as the second user it takes over 3 hours, sometimes as long as 5 hours, even though the second user account is hardly ever used. Does this mean that there is a virus or a problem on the second user account? All the other scans takes roughly the same time.

You doing a full or a quick scan?0
-
May be because you might have more files in desktop.0
-
A full scan and there is about the same files on the desktop. Hubby only logs in occasionally to read his emails and doesn't really use it for anything else.0
-
Can you post the logfile of the scan? (Open malwarebytes and goto LOGS)
Then goto the 2nd account and run hijack ~
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log):idea:0 -

Ok, I've done everything but not sure about stopping superantispyware from starting with windows. I've gone ito general startup and on startup options the box that says " start Superantispyware when windows starts" is unticked. Am I looking in the right place?0
