so frustrated and let down.

we have recently put in a renewal for my sons dla. he was getting hrc and lrm which we were happy with.

jack has behavioural problems, joint problems and is tube fed.

we just got a letter saying that he isnt entitled to anything as he doesnt need any personal care.

i rang up to ask how they got this and apparently they only wrote to school who said he was fine at lunchtime and things.

when i pointed out he was tube fed and we have to do all of these feeds the cheeky cow on the phone said "are you sure"? apparently because school didnt say that he was i am a liar.

school dont feed him at school, he has a packed lunch that he rarely eats bits of and thats it they only ever see jack when he has had medication.

we have asked them to look at it again and have sent our hospital letters in with a 6 page diary for them to get an insight into what we do in a day with a child that wont sleep, eat or get dressed without help.

i just feel like they think i would lie about something so important.

You're better off just going straight to appeal. They'll look at it before anyway.

You need to get a form from the job centre called a GL24. You need to explain why you're disputing the decision. IE, are they saying he needs less help? Are they saying he needs help duting the day but not at night?

You need to back it up too.

You can send the evidence off separately.

From what you have said the lady did not demonstrate an 'attitude', she was simply stating that the information you were given was contradicted by the information given in supporting evidence. Whilst she could have phrased it a little more tactfully, she was only asking what the DM will be considering, and she did not call you a liar.
    Gone ... or have I?

i never said that she called me a liar. it should read as it was insinuated that i was and i felt that they thought i was lying.

i think the attitude is more of sensing the tone, you werent on the phone i was and i felt like she had an attitude that wasnt professional. this is my opinion that i am entitled to. just because you know better doesnt mean that i should be anyless offended.
