Hi guys,
sorry I didn't see this thread when it was first posted - I know somewhere that sold them the last time I was in there, but they were the 'Chocolate malt' versions, not plain malt (as I remember them from the 80s). They were in packets not rolls, and were imported from Malaysia and sold at a Chinese supermarket in Manchester. I'm due to go sometime soon and I'll report back with my findings.
I can't remember the name of the supermarket, but for any Manc peeps, it's near Manchester Uni on Upper Brook Street, under a restaurant called Tai Pan.
If they still have them I'll post here, and if anybody wants me to get any if they do, just pm me after I post0 -

There's a shop in Bluewater (upper level) that specialises in sweets/snacks from around the world. A good chance they might sell them.0

Hi
came to this a bit late - I've looking for Horlicks Tablets for ages (my gran used to always have them in her handag), but the postage from Malaysia or similar for Malties on Eby puts me off!
Has anyone else seen them in Numark or anywhere else?
Don't know if we have that chain up here...
Did Martin ever get his Horlicks tablets?

Horlicks Tablets are no longer made here in the UK but can be bought on eBay.co.uk and eBay.com
They are now called Malties.
If you want them in bulk then it's www.spiced.com
They cost around $34.00 (£17.00) for 12 packets of 27 tablets including Airmail shipping.
You must only order 12 packets at a time for this price.
eBay.com has a seller selling them at £7.00 for six packets original or chocolate.
Hope this helps.

I have seen horlicks tablets in some local chemists. Talking of old fashioned sweets , i used to love Victory V tablets (not the soft ones) they used to be so hot you couldnt put a full one in your mouth! Now the taste is diluted right down , they are not the same anymore!0
