Great Horlicks tablets Hunt

Why don't you all write to Horlicks explaining your addiction to the stuff and ask for their help?
If enough of you do it then the product may come back on the shelves - or they may be able to tell you where to get it - or you might get a voucher or freebie as well!
Worth a try"This site is addictive!"

I remember seeing them in Morrisons but that was about a year go - i'm not sure if they were Horlicks or a generic brand but they were lovely!:)0

I've searched and searched for these selling in the UK but it seems they've completely vanished. Guess they stopped making them which is such a shame - I hate it when companies do that to a popular product just because it isn't 'fashionable' any more.

I'll write to them tonight and will let you know what I hear from them!0

Oooh -those bring back memories. I used to love those - bought them as a treat to keep me going at work. Think you could sometimes buy them in triple packs so I could have them with me all the time!
Anyway, I've had a quick look but couldn't find any online - put in a request for them at https://www.aquarterof.com - they were on Working Lunch recently and try to stock all the "old" sweets. Fingers crossed they find some.0 -
Maltesers may help ease the withdrawal symptoms between shipments. ;-)
Alternative would be to get a cheap flight to India and stock up on these -

I loved the ovaltine chocolate. Haven't seen it around since I was small though!0

Sorry to be slightly off topic here Martin, but as well as those tablets (which I also liked although agree with Smiley_Mum on maltesers being a nice equivalent) I also loved another thing that we could get from the chemists as kids but not now. I think it was called "Blue Oils" or something like that and it was blue/purple coloured liquid and very sweet. I've no idea what, if anything, it was good for in terms of ailments but me and my kid sister loved it. If anyone remembers it or knows where to get it i'd be grateful.
P.S. On the topic of maltesers (sorry again Martin), me, my wife and kids have invented two new games over Xmas. 1st we tried playing "Pop and Hop" (which was called Frustration when I was a kid) whereby we fill all the gaps with Maltesers. When you move your coloured marker, you (may) get a malteser. It certainly changes the tactics of the game - depending on whether you want to win or eat!!
The 2nd game we tried was replacing the marbles in kerplunk with maltesers. Its now not so bad when you lose!!0
