If don't do that much milleage and fill up now while it is cheap the danger is the full weight of the tank will soon outweigh any savings anyway!
Any truth in this? Sounds logical I suppose- if it's correct it's best to keep your tank below half full I guess, without playing 'chicken' with the fuel gauge.0 -

There is quite a lot of truth in it, if say fuel goes up 2p and you fill up ten litres, you've spent 20p more. However the weight of that extra 10 litres could add up to 20p. I would guess this impacts smaller low powered cars more than more powerful ones and on a diesel the difference would be less still.0 -
