I noticed our morros was 113.9 today [Wednesday]
Why is it coming down all of a sudden. I know o.p says price war but they seem to have been a bit of a cartel just recently with the supers0 -
The price of crude oil came down a few weeks back, so it is slowly having an effect at the pumps. Its nothing to do with a price war, it is just simple supply and demand and competition.0
-
spot on jd82, crude is @ 69.55 a barrel at mo, it was hovering about 80 ish so about time it was passed down to us."If you are going through Hell, keep going" - Winston Churchill0

I hoped this would happen. Who's holding out for it to go back down below £1.10 or maybe even £1? Shame I've just filled up my tank at £1.159. Nevermind, I've got to drive a couple of hundred miles on Friday.0
-
Doubtful it'll go down below £1 again unless the price of oil plummets. The tax is now higher than it was last time we were at £1/litre.0
-
Oh look the price is going DOWN again. I'd like to hear from the people who say the price of petrol only goes up :rotfl:0
-
The price of oil is going back up, so I'd fill up while you can at this price.0
-
If don't do that much milleage and fill up now while it is cheap the danger is the full weight of the tank will soon outweigh any savings anyway!0
