    .............:)

Well, yeah it's quite amusing. :rotfl:

However, lots of people have commented that it's quite amusing for a bloke to be baking too, so I guess we're even. ;)

Watch your paws in the golden syrup, it's reet sticky & will get in yer fur. :D
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

What's the problem with sunflower oil? A sunflower's a vegetable, isn't it?

Thanks for this lovely recipe, MrBadExample! Just made it this afternoon, as we've got an old friend coming to lunch on Monday so that should help me restrain myself from trying it until then. Only thing was, the greaseproof lining in the cake tin moved slightly as I was pouring the cake mix in (probably serves me right for not spooning it in), so here and there there's a thin layer of cake outside the lining, just near the bottom. So I had to cut those bits off and eat them to save them going to waste - what a shame!:p The cake isn't perfectly round either, again because of the lining moving, so will have to find a better way to line it next time.

Ermm...I'm a bit surprised you couldn't find a tablespoon - my kitchen is legendary in its lack of utensils and I've got 4! I'm sure it'll be fine - you obviously didn't need any assistance. :D

Are you happy with the outcome, and any chance of a picture? :T

You have measuring spoons?  You sure you're a cat and not a chef?

:o I didn't do the sugar thing at the end....I'd have had to buy sugar cubes and a rolling pin to crush them with.

Hmm...about the picture...can you take one, and can you get it on your PC? The rest we can work on, but if you can't do that then it ain't gonna happen. :rotfl:

Hope it tastes as good as it sounds! :D :T
