It would have been the sensible option, but as it wasn't the first thing on her mind as it was only a couple of books.0 -
I too have had problems with home delivery network, In fact I seem to have problems with nearly every delivery company. I ordered some small pieces of sports equipment online and accidentally chose the option to it delivered at home instead of at work, tried to rearrange delivery with no joy so thought I would just have to wait for the card through the door and deal with it then.
About a week went by with no delivery so I called and was told my stuff had been delivered, told her I hadn't received anything and was pretty much told that as far as they were concerned it had been delivered.
It wasn't until the next day when I was wheeling my bike through the side gate that I discovered my stuff had indeed been delivered, as it had been thrown over my 6ft side gate and had landed next to my wheelie bins. :mad:0 -
HDN left my 2 orders worth nearly £200 on my front garden while I was out and somebody pinched them. The driver was interviewed about the incident and said where he left it, it would only have been visable to the recipient implying it was me who took it. How he figured that out I don't know. It would of been visable to whoever walked past the house, whoever went to my front door or who visited my neighbours house. HDN are a joke!
Thank god I got a refund but would of appreciated the items more as they're now out of stock. There customer service is dire too!0 -
Sorry to hi-jack the thread, but I just thought I would let you all know that the HDNL/DHL monster has come up with a new name for the merged business, and it is.....
YODEL
(and, yes, that is the new colour too!)
Let the p%£&-taking begin...0
