I know! According to my calculations, when the other payment clears this week, I should be down to £15,974.46 after interest. Lets just see how accurate my spreadsheet is

I should be able to make about another £200 payment too

I know, going below each £1,000 mark is a new milestone really, it's so much more motivational to do it. At the moment I'm hoping to go below another one every other month

It does really give you a boost when you drop a K.
I'm aiming to pay a £1,000 plus interest every month so that I can drop a K a month. Have managed it for Apr and May so far. Will be harder though when my interest goes back up!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
You two are doing so well, I can't even drop £100 a month at the moment!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
