    Happy MSE Anniversary! :D

Think you're definitely still on the wagon, just think that a lot of us realised along the way that this wasn't going to happen overnight.

Yeah you're right. What is more worrying is what financial state I would be in had I NOT found this site!

I just re-read my first post. And I think I've kept to my promise quite well. I have bought a couple of gadgets, iPad and an iPhone, but I've also told myself I DON'T need a new xbox and I DON'T need a new TV and I certainly DON'T need a new car!! So far, I've put a LOT of money towards this debt, more than I would have ever thought of doing before joining here.

So also, thanks to you guys for keeping me on the straight and narrow :D

Here's to another year!! (and hopefully my final year).

    Congrats!

I think once we get to DFD -12 months, things will feel real and it'll be easier to keep on track.

It's all pretty good going isn't it, when you look back and sum it up like that.

I didn't resist at all, I got it the day it was released LOL. But, I paid for it with cash money, whereas before it would have been on the CC :D

You value things far more when you have parted with cold hard cash for them as well don't you!

I've just applied for a 0% cash transfer CC from MBNA. I doubt they'll accept me (although my experian credit score is 999=excellent). If they do, it would mean I wouldn't have any interest on the loan to pay, meaning £200 a month extra clearing it rather than lining the pockets of Lloyds!!
