halfpriceperfumes.co.uk - order problems

I placed an order with this company (halfpriceperfumes.co.uk) on the 10th May - to be delivered to my work address. On the 17th, still nothing had arrived so I emailed the customer services email address to enquire, only to be told that the order had been returned (not by me as I hadn't received it!). They then promised to send out a replacement order the following day (18th May). It is now the 26th May and I still haven't received anything.

I've tried emailing - they now don't respond. I've tried calling their customer support number: 08451085126, only to be put through to an answer machine everytime (even though the line is supposed to be manned from 9-5pm everyday).

Anyone had problems with this company before? or know what action is best to take next?

Finally got a response:

"We will recheck on the whereabouts of your parcel. If we are unable to find this then we will refund for you."

Fingers crossed they find where it is - amazing that these companies always take the money out of your account straight away yet you are left hanging when it comes to receiving the goods...

The website domain is registered to a company called Sterling Pharmacy Ltd. According to the yellow pages, their phone number is 0161 445 3753. I would try ringing that, demand your refund and don't take no for an answer.

Many thanks for this info - called and they put me through to cust. services - have no idea why they aren't picking up on the other number. Managed to get a refund sorted out as they are now OOS of products I ordered! typical.

Thanks. I'll call tomorrow. I'm very reluctant to use an 0845 number, especially when everyone says it's just an answer machine. They haven't replied to my emails either. I wish I had done a search first as they have terrible reviews all over the internet. The only consolation for me is that I paid by Paypal and will open a claim if they keep mucking me about. :mad:
