Hi
When I open a new tab in IE it's taking AGES for it to load up. This happens when I first open IE, open an additional tab or click on a link in an email or a web page. Does anyone know how I can speed it up? It never used to be this slow!
Thanks.

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log):idea:0 -
Use firefox instead - I find it quicker.
Also maybe run a malwarebytes scan?

When I try to do the Hijackthis one I get this message:
For some reason your system denied access the the Hosts file. If any hijacked domains are in this file, HijackThis may NOT be able to fix this.
If that happens, you need to edit the file yourself. To do this, click Start, Run and type;
notepad C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
and press Enter. Find the lines(s) HijackThis reports and delete them. Save the file as 'Hosts'. (with quotes) and reboot.
What next?0 -
Try right click hijackthis, run as administrator.!!
