Congratulations! I worked at McD's while I was studying and was promoted to manager within about 9 months, there are opportunities to move on and even get right out of the restaurants if you really want to!
I've had employers and interviewers look very favourably on that experience and I still use examples from it when applying for jobs. So many people start and finish within a couple of weeks because they didn't realise how tough it would be that sticking with it looks impressive!0 -

I agree. As I mentioned earlier I used to recruit junior staff for a large bank and youngsters who had worked at McD's had developed skills such as team working, communication, customer service, attention to detail, as well as the ability to work hard on their feet for hours. These skills are required for most jobs.
