Samsung galaxy portal

Hello, my wife has just got one of these and is struggling to see if you can assign your own text message tones!!
Does anyone know if this is possible?? I know Samsung previously have not been able to do this???

    No idea but have a look on here, it may say somewhere.

    Also look in the Galaxy Spica and galaxy Lite forums as they are different names for he same phone.

    She is finding it difficult to get used to ( not had a touchscreen phone before ) , she is liking most of the features and in a few days sure when she knows how to use everything she will love it even more!!!
