I was pointing out that the original post said 'You may get AI for £800 but it may only be 1 star ', then another poster pointed out that you indeed could get a 4 star for 400, then in true MSE style some little keyboard warrior spotted an opportunity to try and knock someone down a peg or 2.

I said Turkey was a possibility in the original post. So I'm not sure if you're for/against, or actually offering anything useful.

Im trying to help you from wasting your time by trawling teletext when the offers aren't usually there, that someone was giving you a link to a website that hasn't got live prices, aren't packages and what will be there will be alot more money than you want to pay.
I can't offer you an actual holiday because i can't find one that actually exists thats in your budget and after reading 20 posts i'd forgotten you'd said Turkey sorry. Thanks for explaining what you meant i wasn't being sarcastic in saying i didn't understand.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say that you can get an ai for under £400. We went to Mexico last year for £1600 for 4 of us in a 5* ai hotel! Sign up to travelzoo and dealchecker and be ready to book- quickly! You've got a real advantage in that you're not going in school holidays so don't have to worry about that. I'd maybe hold fire for a couple more weeks if you can bear it too- most bargains come up with about a month to go so at the moment there are lots for mid June. Oo try Mark's travel too- they're really good for long haul and are very friendly. Good luck, I'm rooting for you!
