Do 02 offer retention deals?!
I currently have the Nokia N95 8GB and want a re-conditioned Iphone 3GS which is £150....
Is there anyway to get 02 to give me the iphone if I give them the Nokia 8gb N95 (which is worth about £100 on these mobile buying sites).
Will threatening to leave help or not? I also use 02 for Broadband and am considering the home phone too.

Why don't you sell the Nokia to fund the purchase of the Iphone?0

On a similar point (sorry to thread hijack), any chance of getting any sort of sweetener when going from long-term payg customer (6/7 years on same no) to contract?I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

02 are very hardball.
They have decent customer services ( way better then Vodafone could even dream off ), but like many networks, you have to earn them money to get a good deal.
I've just left 02 after more years then I care to remember becasue I wanted a 12 month contract. But after contacting Vodacrone ( 3, T-Mob & Orange are of no use to me due ) Im looking at going back to 02 on a monthly rolling sim and will buy a phone outright.0 -
Thats the last resort - Ideally dont want to pay anything....call it a loyaly bonus :rotfl:emeraldbugle wrote: »Why don't you sell the Nokia to fund the purchase of the Iphone?
Has nobody on here got a deal out of 02 then?!0 -
They used to give great deals, seem to have joined the 'New customers only' brigade now.
I said in a previous thread, the 'offer' they gave me after years of loyalty was worse than i could get on their website, told them and they said sorry they couldnt match other sites, I was fighting a losing battle talking to a monkey reading from a script so i am looking around at the moment.
I have always had in my opinion good deals so never expect too much give, some of my friends pay £30 for rubbish deals like 50mins 100texts so pretty much any deal they get would be good. Keep trying but dont expect too much with O2 anymore0
