For £15 has to be worth a punt, for some old school garden fun, have reserved one and will pick up at lunch.

Oh it's great fun, we have it, and even used it in the winter. It's waiting to be put back in this weekend, and it was taken out whent he snow got bad, and the garden's been revamped. We have the spike and real ball one, OH and I spent hours playing it last year. :)

I agree with Sooz, go for the spiked one. We have had years of fun out of ours - and much easier to take away with you than the one with a base, too. I think it can wind the neighbours up a bit though, after a couple of hours of continuous thwacking:mad:. Then the best thing to do is invite them round for a best of three!:D
I didn't read the quote, and just after the previous reply I thought "a ball with spikes on?!"

Might add an extra element of fun, though :D

both my hubby and i had one when were younger and loved it . so about 3 years ago hubbys mum bought a new one for our kids. it is fantastic. my 2 year old has been joining in playing with us for about last 6 months and now his coordination in hitting the ball is excellent. we all love playing it. adults and kids alike it is really good fun.
  • We bought one the other week and love it! Lots of laughs and everyone has loved playing. Well worth £15

Well I collected and erected it, and after a pretty crappy working day it was the best stress reduction tool, I beat the crap out of swingball, It wasnt entirely one sided it did bite back and I have a few bruises on my arm, but overall the best £15 I have spent in a long time.
