I Wonder if anyone can help me with some advice please?
My mom has recently upgraded with orange to an iphone, however had massive issues actually getting the handset. Agreed delivery day didn’t happen, next delivery day didn’t happen, then agreed to deliver to work but didn’t and when she complained it handt come said that work delivery wasn’t allowed etc etc etc.
Anyway, to cut a long story short she cancelled the contract and never actually received the iphone. Orange had advised that they would refund once iphone was back in warehouse. This was several weeks ago. Numerous phone calls and emails have got us nowhere, and we have had to cancel the contract 4 times before its actually been done meaning they have now sent a final demand for outstanding contracts fees. In addition, they say they have the iphone and will refund but never do, and thats about £80.
Any ideas what i can do, or a different email or phone number to use to actually get to someone who knows what they are doing?!
Any advice gratefully received!

Write a written complaint to orange demanding a refund of all fees as orange have failed to provided the goods on the agreed date - Sale of goods act.
And, If it was ordered online or via the telephone, under distance seller regulations you can't be charged as the phone and sim card were never delivered.
If they refuse to handle it, take the complaint to OFCOm to resolve.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Hi,
Sorry your mom is having problems.
If you can ask her to drop me an email to the address in my profile, including the details from the order (reference number etc) I will look into this for her.
So I can pick up the mail quickly, please add 'Jonathan Orange Response' in the first line.
Hope this helps
Jonathan

Thank you very much Jonathon, I will do, and will include the first line you request.
Can I just check that you mean the generic Orange Customer Service email on your profile please, as she has been emailing this address previously?
For information we have been making calls all weekend and still are getting nowehereWins in 2007 - Baileys Ice Cube Tray, Seven Year Itch Book, Haribo Easter EggWins in 2008 - Nothing yet!0 -
Use the generic one, as long as you put 'Jonathan Orange Response' in the subject line Jonathon will be able to filter it out and find it.0
