Intrigued by the experiences of some on this thread I decided to join a dating site. Tho I have been with my OH for about 5 or 6 years now, I havent seen them for 2 years so just thought I would try a experiment to see what is out there in the unlikely event that I ever decide to actually look for someone else.

I just had my first contact a few weeks after joining and the guy resembles the 1927 Nosferatu...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Why on earth would you waste peoples time like that???

Cloudy with a coolish breeze but still warm enough for short sleeves :D Just need a tiny drop of rain to fill up my water butt and give the rest of the garden a good drink.
Been to soft play this morning, done school drop off and had quick tidy round. I confess I feel completely de-motivated to do ANYTHING at the moment :o I keep seeing lots of things that need doing, de-cluttering, the garden, cleaning etc and I just feel like it's getting on top of me. I have 2 hours in the afternoon to get stuff done and at the moment I just can't see the end to all of these jobs that need doing. Anyone care to give me a kick up the @rse?! :rotfl:
Not much OS going on here really aside from the usual washing and bit of cleaning :o

Jayward - glad to see you posting x

Lamewolf - Glad your H can do the injections for your canine friend otherwise you'd be a bit stuck :rotfl:

Diva - Hope you're OK xx

nmlc - sorry to hear about your OH's nan. I hope her time remaining is as comfortable as possible xx

Hugs to those that need them. Have a good day OS or not.

Reverbe, I had a similar experience here in Bristol - the guy really was a dead (no pun intended) ringer for Nosferatu, dressed in black, and to cap it all, he drank Bloody Marys...

The date lasted 1/2 hour and there was no repeat :D.

Lame Wolf, will you be watching "Going Postal" next week? I think it's on ITV...
We certainly will be watching it; it's on Sky 1, in 2 parts on Sunday and Monday, 18:00 to 20:00.:T:T:T:T:T

I'd have had to say I couldn't take him, and they'd have had to find another host.:( Thankfully Mr LW is fine with needles, and Sidney is ever so good about having his insulin.:) He's spark out beside the sofa at the moment. Sidney that is, not Mr LW.:rotfl:

I really wish we had Sky - only so I could watch "Going Postal" as I love Terry Pratchett's books.

Made DD(16) cooked brekkie as she had an exam this morning, then did dishes and cleared boxes from kitchen floor and washed it. Water in buckets was black!!!! Think it will need another four or five washes to look even dingy rather than clean. The paid cleaners that the owner hired do not seem to have ever touched the floor in months or more like years.

Took a load of empty boxes etc to the tip and DH drove me to an Aldi and got stocked up on fruit, veg, eggs, rolls, salad, cold meat and cheese slices - even treated myself to a bunch of Enchantment lillies- and saved a fortune compared to local supermarket.

DD(24) just got offered the job she went for interview yesterday so is really flattered but not sure she wants it. Turns out she has another job interview next week which looks more like her thing so fingers crossed.

Library internet logs me out in a couple of mins so hugs to all.

    Good Evening All,

Bit late for me today. I have had another unproductive day, I'm afraid. I washed out the boy's paddling pool and put it away, and that was a step too far. I also had a call from Occ Health at work as I have a back injury, allegedly, but I think that they think I am at it because I was off last week with DS1. I invited her out to see my big purple backside and the state of my house, which made her laugh, she was very helpful and gave me a few suggestions, and will arrange for a special cushion for my big bum when I get back, and says that I should be prepared for this to take another two weeks to heal!!!!!!!! I told her if I'm not back on Thursday, I'm determined to be back next week. I hate being off sick, and only do so if desperate. After the miscarriage I was back at work ten days later because I didn't want to drag it out, so they should know I'm not a malingerer.

Enough moaning, I'm getting really down as it is. I took a photo of my big purple backside last night and sent it to Mark for a laugh. He seemed quite shocked:eek: that it is so bad, I think he thought I was exaggerating too.:rotfl::rotfl:I am determined to do something useful tonight.

I will make some sort of muffins as DS2 finishes Beavers tomorrow and it is his "going up" ceremony, so I'll do something as a thank you for the leaders, one it retiring, too. DS1 is going to a friend's from school so he can have something to take there. Probably lemon drizzle or bananas (those sad ones from the other day are in the freezer).

A new Tesco has opened up in our old local Safeway/Morrisons/Somerfield store, and we received great vouchers yesterday, one a weel for the next four weekd, for £8 off a £30 shop, looking forward to using that and stocking up, my storecupboard essentials, and nuts, seeds etc, are all running out. DH has decided to come home Saturday morning until sunday, so looking forward to getting out hopefully with him and the boys. :D

Whittered on, sorry, I'm feeling a bit dozey, I hope you are all OK, and Diva, PenPin, Ladygrim, Jayward, and anyone else who needs it, are getting lots of support from their loved ones. Hugs from me. X

PS enjoy your hols, Flutterby, I love Italy!
