Hope everyone is ok, hugs to all in need/want xx

    Morning All!
Had a lovely day yesterday. Went to Wisley (RHS Garden) with the MS Society. My cousin came with me, and pushed me in my chair. Really hot though, glad to be back in Hastings with the sea breeze:rotfl:

Took my car in today. The seat belt alarm keeps coming on when I'm driving, and it's making me go nuts! DING< DING all the time, and I've got my belt on:mad: Hope they can fix it.:o

WM about to go on. takes me ages to get a wash together now that there's only me at home:rotfl:

Man doing my new fence yesterday and today. Looks much better already, and he's only got the posts and rails up.

    Have a good day all!

Morning all.................((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

I did not post yesterday, the day just seemed to get away from me somehow.

A short post this morning too, we want to get out into the garden and pplant the 40 plants we brought home from the open day. I only bought a couple, the rest are what were left over on the friends plant stall, the idea is that we grow them on and return them for next years sale. I think most of them will stay in the garden and I will pot up plants from those I split or raise from seed.

Its a bright day, a lot cooler than it has been......

Intrigued by the experiences of some on this thread I decided to join a dating site. Tho I have been with my OH for about 5 or 6 years now, I havent seen them for 2 years so just thought I would try a experiment to see what is out there in the unlikely event that I ever decide to actually look for someone else.

I just had my first contact a few weeks after joining and the guy resembles the 1927 Nosferatu...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When this happened to me in my (then) new car I took it back to the dealer only to be told that it was because I'd put a carrier bag on the passenger seat. Apparently it made it heavy enough to make the alarm thingy think that someone was sitting there!!! I did feel stupid, though!!:o

    Afternoon all,

Flutterby...when I visit the UK I use my credit card for as much as possible for 2 reasons, you get the rate on the date you use the card and I think that you pay less for transaction. I don't withdraw cash on card unless I have topped it up with any cash I may need, otherwise you pay interest from time you get cash! I dislike having cash on my person so find this easiest, but you may in fact know more than me about what you are doing...wouldn't be hard really.

Another lovely day here, bit more windy but not enough to be cold. Having DDs 3&4 and DGS2 for dinner to-day, having some steak I got for €3 yesterday, nobody will get very much but there will be spuds and salad and mashed parsnips and carrots so there will be enough....too hot to eat much!

Just had a bit of excitement discovered that baby rabbit Sile caught last night was alive and well behind some boxes I keep paperwork in....had to fight the cats and dog for him/her, but managed to let him down the bottom of the garden while OH closed windows and doors to keep cats and dog in....the stress! Hopefully he will not be stupid enough to let himself be caught again, although I know that the cats hunt in the fields so I guess its a lottery! That's my good deed for the day.

PP, JackieG, Ladygrim, Cranky, hope that it is a good day for you.

Thanks meanmarie. I'm only getting a small amount of euros and the rest will go on my credit card. I have the Nationwide card so it's free/cheapest to spend on abroad.
I too dislike having so much cash on me so only taking 200Euro rest will go on card.

I've just spend 45mins cleaning the inside of my car (it's overdue by about 2 years! :rotfl:) and topping up all the levels, just need to go pump up tyres now. I'm driving to the airport tomorrow (Bristol) so want make sure it is all ok.

    Hi everyone :)

Just popping by and typing as quickly as poss cos internet connection keeps crashing and shows no sign of improvement!! Hey Ho shouldn't moan ... just miss my OS fix lol

Today - I've wiped down windows downstairs at the back, put DW and WM on ... another load about to go in WM, done a 'top-up' shop (now gone over budget!! but needed essentials like dog food, milk, bread) and went to the library for a chin wag with some other Mums.

I've got very hot dogs and despite wrapping them in wet towels they don't seem to be able to cool down :(

I need to meal plan and sort washing out ... did meal plan in my head before shopping but will write it out and pin it to cupboard door or I go off on a tangent!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day :grouphug: to all those who want/need them xxx
