Aftersun tip

Options
After getting burnt at the weekend I popped out at lunchtime today to get some aftersun as I am feeling very tender and sore :(

I was shocked to see that the on offer price for most of the after sun was £5+ so went on the hunt for an alternative (anything with Aloe Vera basically!) and came across this little treasure!

Tesco do their own Aloe Vera body lotion for £1 which clearly states in the blurb that its "Ideal for use as a refreshing aftersun lotion"

I have snapped up a couple of bottles, at 400ml its bigger than the usual sized aftersun too.

Its in a turqoise bottle with a dark blue lid and can be found amongst the moisturisers.

Hope thats of use to everyone!

I always keep my aftersun in the fridge so that it's extra cooling!

  • Try using p20 sun lotion or p10 if you tan easier, it's a fab investment apply once a day (yes only once a day) I'm a bit of a redish head so burn from one touch of sun but with this stuff never burned in 5 years I've been using it (also good if you suffer from prickly heat cuts it right out).

Its also water proof, its expensive about £25rrp 200ml, best price I've found is £17 home & bargain, but you save in the long run cos it's only once a day application and it lasts ages and no need for any after sun

Hi might sound like a silly question but do you buy it in a spray or do you transfer it out of the bottle.

    Thanks

i put it in a frizz ease spray bottle lol works a treat shame they dont make it in a spray bottle makes it far easyer to apply.
