  • None unless the Isle of Wight counts due to having a 10 month old baby, I think it's unfair to take babies on planes both for them and other people on the plane.
Nothing to see here, move along.
  • I have been on/planned 9 trips this calendar year (only counting Spain once as girlf has family there so make many weekend trips).

With Easyjet/Ryanair many of these are less than £50 return weekend trips. Staying in hostels keeps costs down, though sometimes a package holiday cheap hotel works out a bargain.

Thailand/Malaysia/Singapore - 2 weeks, flew with Air Asia booked about 9 months in advance, less than £330 for flights including internals - accomodation in region of £4pppn out there. Local transport used between areas.

Egypt - Easyjet/Egypt Air flights booked over 6 months in advance less than £250 for flights including one internal. Local transport used, accomodation less than £8pppn on average (including one 5 star for £11pppn B&B).

Norway/Switzerland - Flying Sat morning, return Sun evening on both these trips - less than £50 return - hotels for about £25-£30pppn is well pricey for us. Will self cater most meals and not endulge in drinking!

Balkans (8 countries) - Expensive 2 week summer holiday - Easyjet flights for about £160 return, booked months in advance. Accom about £16pppn. Local buses/trains to be used, but not overly cheap - expect to spend about £500 in total, making this our most expensive holiday of the year.

Tunisia - Few days using cheapish (£130) return BA flights - cheap package hol hotels when there at about £11pppn, and local train.

Amsterdam - Using Airmiles offer from this website.

One other to be planned around Christmas time so no holiday time used.
generally try and use bank holidays as part of holiday to maximise time, so long as still cheap.

All hols are hand luggage only to keep costs down - size not an issue, but 7kg limit on some airlines is! On 2 week hols we get clothes washed.

Airport train tickets bought in advance using online savers.

If added up the price would probably scare me, but I sold my car to reduce costs!

Probably 4 this year, went snowboarding in Bulgaria in March, Majorca in May just for 5 days as a cheap trip to use holiday days £150 each person, heading to Olu Deniz in Turkey in a couple of weeks time for a week £300 half board each.

Looking into maybe Marrakech for 4 days later in the year but not 100% yet

Some are just cheap trips, usually do a cheap trip to spain each year for under £200 as I hate using my holiday days up in the UK
