None for me too, its going to be day trips out for me and hubs, we have a very elderly cat and can't bring ourselves to leave her in the house alone (although looked after by kindly rellies) overnight just in case anything happens ... and yes I know its mad but thats just the way we are... there's always next year but then hubs won't fly , but thats a whole other story....

    None for me.

Never been abroad. I don't even have a passport.

I don't take holidays, haven't had a holiday since about 1995, they're bl00dy expensive when you're single and I just don't see the point of paying over the odds to be lonely in an unfamiliar place. Might as well keep the money for emergencies. Having paid holidays is a fairly recent thing and in many jobs I didn't get paid leave so just worked.

Two this year, one definitely booked, 2 weeks in France in early summer, probably will have a week in Spain in late Sept or perhaps a long weekend in Madrid in October, never been to Madrid.

Haven't been abroad since Feb 2002 - and that was only my 7th foreign holiday ever, with my first being in the early 70's (plus 2 day trips to France)

Didn't expect to get a holiday of any type this year (and hadn't had one since Jan 2006), but managed a very cheap weekend away in the UK last weekend - £1.50 for the electricity used in a holiday home, owned by a relative, that would have otherwise been empty (plus about half a fuel tank for the travelling).

At the moment that's looking like my only holiday for this year (and next, and the one after!), so I've voted 'None'.

their are loads of cats/kittens awaiting there forever home
don't forget the the oldies who are just as much fun

I guessed five. I went to the USA in January, tagged a couple of days in Paris onto a business trip in March, am going to Italy in early July, then going to Australia for a year in mid July (to work, but I think it still counts!) The fifth I tagged on for good measure, as I hopefully will do some kind of trip from my base in Australia, eg to New Zealand perhaps.

Once I've paid the essentials (rent, food, petrol), I would say 80%+ of my income goes towards travel and related things. I figure that while I'm young, free and single I may as well use my money to see the world!

I feel lucky this year, and having 2 foreign holidays. On top of that, I will have a few weekends away in the UK. Got lots planned, so looking forward to a busy 2nd half of 2010!

    Holiday? What's a holiday? ;)

The last holiday I had was 6 years ago, when I went on my honeymoon to the States. That was the first holiday I'd had for 10 years.

None. The almost £300 to get us all up-to-date passports is our holiday budget. Instead we have CADW membership thanks to Tesco deals & so invade Welsh castles, run round Roman amphitheatres & get in cheap to English Heritage sites. OK, the lads aren't learning any really foreign languages but we're still having loads of fun.
I'd like to go abroad, but there are too many other places to put the money!

A bit like me and OH, no children at home though. We're borrowing a neighbours cottage in Cornwall for a week, we look after her house and garden when she's away, no accommodation costs . Staying with SIL for a few days in the autumn. A night in London for a concert, the hotel paid for by a complimentary hotel voucher. The restaurant meal will probably be courtesy of Tesco clubcard deals. May have a long weekend in Bournemouth visiting my son.
