I don't even think I can afford a weekend away in the UK this year
Anyway, think how low my carbon footprint will beAspire not to have more but to be more.

None - though have had a week in Scotland, with a week in Snowdonia and a weekend in the South-West to come. There are plenty of nice places in the UK, and it keeps carbon footprint & costs down (what with the € exchange rate not being great).0

I won't be going abroad this year .... and it's unlikely that I will go very much in future years.
I'm lucky in that I have been already been to quite a few countries (USA, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Holland, Greek Islands, Turkey etc.) ... but my main reasons are:
a) I'm single ..... it's not so much fun on your own
b) It's actually quite a hassle and fairy stressful doing the airport/transfer to resort/getting used to a new environment/holiday tummy stuff etc.
c) I now suffer quite badly from recurrent skin cancers and so have to be really careful in the sun ....... too much sunbathing in the past .... but I also have a compromised immune system due to taking drugs for a kidney transplant.
d) There are some really beautiful places in the UK that I haven't checked outMark0 -
Just the one for me. Been saving and not going anywhere (even in the UK) for nearly two years to pay for it (I don't do holidays on credit), but I think three weeks in Peru will be worth it!:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Had one, got one booked and am hoping to book one for October half term. Love my holidays! Also planning some weekends away in this country too.0

None. The almost £300 to get us all up-to-date passports is our holiday budget. Instead we have CADW membership thanks to Tesco deals & so invade Welsh castles, run round Roman amphitheatres & get in cheap to English Heritage sites. OK, the lads aren't learning any really foreign languages but we're still having loads of fun.
I'd like to go abroad, but there are too many other places to put the money!0 -
6, possibly 7. Travelling is a bit of a priority of mine and I'll probably spend about 7 weeks out of the country all in all. Im planning on going travelling for a year in a couple of years though so I'll have to knock it down loads from next year.
I've also got a fair few hobbies Im splashing out on this year, otherwise I'd probably have done another.0
