3 have cancelled my order

Ordered the HTC Desire on the 7th May and had a email confirming this and that delivery would be after the 21st.
Spoke to them at the weekend to find out when it would be delivered only to find that they needed 'proof' of my bank account even though we have 2 accounts already with them :mad: Explained that I would have to change my bank account fron online to paper and then order the statement which I would then fax to them.
Have just had a email telling me the order has been cancelled and they'd previously tried to contact me ....NOT!!
I'm fuming. Have spoken to someone on the 3 team who has spoken to his manager and they've said if I get the proof to them it "should" be ok.
The statement will take about a week to come so cant see me having much luck :mad:

Having spent a week trying to buy a Desire on payg from 3 stores where they were in stock but the staff flatly refused to sell them? I can only conclude that 3 only employ people no one else will.

I'll never set foot in a 3 store again.

That also has it available only on contracts

You missed your chance - for a while it could be obtained on a 24 month at £17 contract there, about the same cost overall as buying it on its own elsewhere

The deal I had gone for was the 20 pound 300 mix n match with unlimited internet......thats why I'm so bloomin annoyed :mad:

I've got a contract. I just wanted the phone.

The staff also, with a straight face, told me that over all it would be cheaper to have a 24 month contract at £22 a month !! So I guess that they're not trained in maths either.

Trading standards tell me they're going to talking to 3 about ‘misleading advertising’ in that they have the price advertised in store, the staff are confirming they have stock but refuse to sell them...
