I have finally got around to uploading my pictures to the laptop so thought I would share
.
These are the easter biscuits I made to give out instead of eggs and they were very well received. I have never made anything like this before!0 -
These are the cupcakes I made for the Royal Wedding. We had a little shindig at my Aunties and the second picture shows the buffet we had
Isnt my new cake stand gorgeous? (Although expensive!)
I mentioned earlier on in the thread that I was making my very first ever cake using 'proper' icing. It was farrrr from perfect but considering it was my first go it was presentable so that was a good thing! It was for my uncles 50th birthday, and he is a man city fan so I chose blue as a theme! I quite enjoyed using the sugarpaste to make the cupcake decorations and think I will experiment with this more before I attempt to do another cake with it. I definately learnt alot from it that is for sure!
These were just come cupcakes I made and took round to my neighbour as a thank you for always accepting our parcels when we are out (which is nearly every parcel sent to us!)0 -

babyfreckles, I'm having trouble with a foolproof giant cupcake recipe, would you mind sharing yours? the last few I have made, the base has been fine but the top has been too soft and just falls apart when I try and move it.You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -

I'd like to make some individual cheesecakes & would appreciate any tips on small suitable moulds. My large cheescake is made in a spring form tin which is perfect as it comes out really neat & tidy & I'd like the same for the small ones too. I've considered those small baked bean tins but would they be easy to ease away the cheesecake without it turning into a complete mess?0

Of course
340g (6oz) butter
340g (6oz) caster sugar
340g (6oz) self-raising flour
6 eggs
2tsp baking powder
If you have fan assisted oven, 160 for 50 minutes. And I use melted butter to grease the pan (I have a silicone one!).
