I found 2 twinpacks of the Princes tuna in brine. I asked a manager who was tidying up the shelves if there were any more. He came back with 2 cases, 12 doubles in each, and said they were part of a special promotion and these were the last they had.
That will keep my daughter stocked up for a bit when she goes back to university in October. The only thing, is we must remember where in the garage we have put it when we need it.
I must say that even at 6 tins for £3, that is still a good deal. Obviously, 50p for 2 tins is much better!0 -
These were £1 but are now 50p. 2 x 185g
Also 3 tins peeled tomatoes 50p.
Both princes brand0 -
Which is the best tuna in brine to buy, John West or Princes?
I see these offers and never know which one to buy if they are both on offer.
The best tuna I have found however are the tins of Morrisons Tuna Steak but at £1.02 a tin they are too expensive for me.
I wish I had stocked up on them a few months ago when they were half price.0
