    hiya everyone,

has been cooler here today but we prefer that to the baking weekend!
Have spent the day hunting for a ben 10 alien chamber figure - even had to collect the tesco shopping of the driver with one of the sofas pulled out and DS2 climbing on the cushions! Havent found it yet...

Tea was spag bol and put some in the freezer too.

Have just read on facebook that the child trust funds are being stopped from January 2011 - such a shame. I hope they dont start messing with the working tax and child tax.

Boys asleep - OH watching match, im about to watch 19 kids and counting on you tube.

    Take care xx

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Another warm (but windy) day, not quite as warm as the last couple of days but made the cycle home from work quite pleasant. Put washing out about 5pm and it is almost dry. Have put it on the airer so should be dry by tomorrow morning.

Took my multi-coloured legs to work for them to have a laugh at - cheered up a Monday morning at least!

JackieG you should see the doctor again, it will help your pain and help your case in getting something done about your slippery steps.

N9eav, hope you enjoy your boat and the weather stays good for you.

It was veggies and salmon cooked outside for tea. We have a gas BBQ and I just put stuff in cooking trays to save cleaning it! Thought about doing the ironing but that thought passed quite quickly so promise I will do it tomorrow.

Hope everyone is good, take care.

Nice to see you back LW...enjoy the doggie.

We have had WW3 here earlier....Sile caught a rabbit, brought it in here through the window, it escaped and then we had Sile, Thunder and Kerry all in hot pursuit....ashamed to say I closed the living room door and stayed there until the war was over! Poor little bunny was done for anyway so very little I could have done.

    Sleep well all

I've had a lovely afternoon/evening. A spot of shopping, meet friends for dinner and then other friends for a few drinks in a pub beer garden :) it got a bit chilly once the sun went down but was bearable. I'm totally in the holiday mode now!

very humid and sticky here tonight I got some antibois from my Dr tonight as I seemed to have picked up an infection in my lymphodema arm.Its three times the size of my left one and bright pillar-box red and very hot and uncomfortable So I have had lots of cold damp teatowels wrapped around it tonight to keep it cool Am not looking forward to trying to sleep though. Tomorrow my car goes into the garage for a little bit of bodywork, and a whopping big bill at the end of it It never rains but it pours ,still its supposed to be cooler a bit tomorrow at least
I shall take it easy this week I think, as I am car-less and not feeling too bright at the moment, so I am going to spoil myself a bit for a couple of days.
DGS Danny popped his head around the door tonight and said he is enjoying his stint at Elstree.
Right off to bed, good night, God Bless all here

There has been ample opportunity to review & comment on the new look whilst it was on trial.

Me too, it's much easier on my eyes!

I didnt see it or hear of it "on trial". I think it contains too many unneeded features such as the stats box etc and aso contain a lot of green which can cause some ppl issues.
