Remember, take the wrappers off the sweets - must add at least 2 or 3 grammes to a bagfull.

why would you buy pick and mix anyway? The Tesco that I work at has a pick and mix stand, and the amount of times I have seen people putting their hands in, kids putting fingers in mouths and then back into the pots, biting off a piece and then putting it back...no siree!

why dont you buy the packs of sweets that are with the rest of the confectionary (3 for £1) at least no boggies or toilet hands in them!

i think i'm going to be sick, when i lived near a tesco i was a fan of the huge chocolate brazils from their pick n mix section and had them frequently...if only i'd known then what i know now

I used to fill the pick and mix up in Wilkinsons and would not buy pick and mix from anywhere.I used to fill the sweets up using gloves and always made sure there were tongs or scoops in every item. But hardly any of the customers would use them and I used to get loads of abuse when I asked them very politely to use the tongs The number of dirty smelly people who used to stick their hands in was unbelievable. You would have kids lick them people cough and then put their hands in etc. Also the people who thought they could get away with putting a wrong sticker on and getting loads of sweets for nothing used to get shock when the cashier would say we have to reweigh them cashiers normaly can tell when something is way underweight. You would be suprised with the number of people who used to try it on with the pick and mix, grass seed, pet food and nails funny how they didn't see it has shop lifting.
