Easyjet - what happens if I don't turn up for the outgoing flight?

Hi,
I'm working away this week in Europe and then going away for the weekend (to a different country also in Europe!). I was thinking of not getting the outgoing Easyjet flight and going straight to my destination from work then just taking the inbound flight.
Can I do this? Will it cause any problems? How will it affect checking in online?

I think i saw this question answered by delwynsholidaydeals, who is a travel agent i think, basically if you dont turn up for the outbound then they will cancell your seat inbound as they will assume you dont want the flight, unless maybe if you ring and explain they may be happy to (not) accomodate you.Everyone who thanks me when ive helped will get a 5% share when I win this weeks Euromillions......:p0

NO they won't cancel your return. easyjet are a point to point airline so you only purchase one way tickets.
If purchasing a return ticket then yes the airline could cancel the inbound if you fail to get the outbound.0
