2 years ago I did a 1 year GNVQ Retail course, and the ladies from the local Lakeland store came in to do a speech and Q & A.
They told us how they price themselves on service - for example they told us how one customer came into the store looking for something they didn't stock, so they took the customers phone number and phoned round the other local shops including woolworths.
The retail tutors thought alot of Lakeland.
Funny thing is the ladies from lakeland offered to give us a guided tour of the shop and stockroom providing we brought our college ID card to them in the shop...funny looking back at it but just shows how helpful they are.0
