How many attempts have you had before you pass your driving test? I've had two so far, third in Wendsday. I hope third time lucky :)

I too passed first time many many years ago... also in the days well before theory tests (1970's), - but there was the 3 day week and power cuts making it more difficult with no traffic lights!

    :T Well done :T

I passed 3rd time as well back in 1998 (I personally think all the best drivers pass 3rd time around ;))
Common sense just isn't that common any more....

My grandfather obtained his driving licence by post! He got it because he thought "it might come handy some day". He never did drive....
  • Bike test first go used to be easy as long as you didn't run the bloke over on the emergency stop you passed, car test 3rd go failed on stupid things first 2 goes.
Nothing to see here, move along.
