Typical unlock shop abilities?

Hi,
I just got an LG KS360 from Ebay, phone is fine and is unlocked to other networks as promised but its got a ridiculous level of Orange crap in it, I would hate it even if I was on Orange! but I am going to use it on O2.
Question is how good is the typical specialist phone unlocking shop? can they typically flash a phone to generic firmware or is that beyond their capabilities?

most kit you use to unlock will also flash the phone , would expect them to be able to do itEx forum ambassador

Chuffed with myself.. bit of hard work on the web and I have done it myself pretty easily! its much nicer in standard format. Just needed flashing program and firmware and done in 15 minutes.
Now I just need an unbranded back cover!0 -
