Lol I wonder if this is why the Rabbit became so in demand lol, rechargable batteries of course to save money :rotfl:Bestthingsinlifearefree wrote:OK Ladies,
Here is a suggestion which may help make your OH have his light bulb moment.
How about denying him privilleges / benefits that only you can grant him ?;)
(cough, cough, nudge, nudge, wink, wink if you know what I mean)
Until he starts sorting his finances out.
As a bloke, I reckon that might do the trick better than nagging or argueing.

Hi DG,domesticgoddess wrote:just feel really frustrated, with OH with his OD and unpaid credit card bills.
We've talked and over a month ago he promised me he would sort things out. And he still hasn't I don't want to force him into it but I don't feel happy at the size of his debt, I don't even know how much he owes but it is a lot.
I know I've asked this before, but what can I do, how do I get him to see it as a priority?
Thanks
DG
not sure if it will work for you, but it did for me. I told him how it made me feel, when he would not tell me how much he owes and I told him that if I knew the exact figure it would make me feel better and it would also be a start for us of dealing with it.
I said to him, "Just tell me what it is and I know were we stand, otherwise it is driving me mad and I am not sure for how long for I can put up with it".
It took me a few times of repeating myself along with reassuarance that I will be with him no matter what as long as we deal with it together.
Think final push was, when I actually did get so frustrated, that his debt was all I could think of and became very missarable, trust me, he could not ignore me then.
I am sure you will get there, just take care of yourself your well being is very important. Try to see bigger picture, like someone told me, and it will help.Debtfee from 20090 -
