Tonight I am going to start wrapping presents I think or it's going to take forever! Tomorrow I am booked in for my massage and facial and Sunday night I am working my last shift at the pub for this year!
I think it will be mostly wrapping really.
What are you doing hun?

Thanks hun, I am hoping it will be nice and relaxing!
I think the next week will just absolutely fly past and whilst I am looking forward to Xmas I am also looking forward to some normality!
I have got an online Tesco shop being delivered Wednesday and at the moment it's a total of £110 , I am making it my weekend mission to go through it and see if I can remove anything and get it down a bit

I don't think there is that much but there is turkey, gammon, sausages, bacon, xmas pud etc! I spent a fortune last year and we were still eating it in March so I really need to cut down!

Oh my days, I've got friction burns, a bad bach and achey knees....normally that's the sign of a good night :rotfl: but unfortunately it's just from blinking present wrapping!
We got a fair bit of snow here yesterday and I was determined I wasn't going to let it get in the way of my plans to pop to my mums and get my massage! It took almost 2.5 hours to drive 3 miles , my appointment was at 1 and I got there at 3, due to snow everyone else had cancelled so wasn't a problem! It was very relaxing, I think I snored at one point
. Managed to drive home no problem and then spent hours wrapping up!
Woke up this morning and went on a bit of a cleaning mission, kitchen all cleaned (including tiles, all appliances and floor), washing done and entiire flat swept, tv unit polished...phew. It's not perfect but it'll do, told OH if he makes a mess I'll kill him and I mean it.
Got to catch up with some work this afternoon as didn't get much done on Friday working from mums, then a quick shower before the pub tonight. The band cancelled due to weather but the girl who normally works with me also isn't coming in as she isn't well so am not looking forward to working on my own. If it's quiet I'll shut up early.
Hope everyone is having a relaxing weeked
xx

Hi All,
Well I only ended up doing 4 hours in the pub on Saturday night, someone else offered to stay till the end because of the weather so I took the opportunity to get an early night. Unfortunately now I have another chest infection and am desperately hoping that my online Tesco shop turns up tomorrow night because otherwise I am going to have to go and do it myself and I just dont feel up to it.
Sorry for not posting much these days, have struggled for time a little but also, if I am honest, I feel a bit of a fraud, like you are all working so hard and I'm swanning off to paradise, I feel a bit bad so have kinda hung back about a bit.
sorry girls x
