well done on Ebay, and quidco
. 29 p is more than nothing, I'm sure you can use it somehow
. Anyone read Martin's blog about the cherries? I had similar experience at the weekend, popped into my local costcutter to get a Red Bull-usually it's around the £1 mark, when I saw the receipt I couldn't believe they charged me £1.39. I nearly took it back but my body decided it needed it. Urgently...

Just did some onepoll surveys so up to £7.45 now, going to be a while before that can come out but might be ok for Xmas?!
Didn't see the article Kavics but I get a lot of this lately, especially on supermarket 2 for £x deals - they don't come up! I may be wrong but from what I have just done in law, a displayed price is not an offer as such, it's an invitation to treat, they don't have to sell it to you at that price - shocking really! I have sworn I am going to start querying these things though as I reckon it's probably cost me about £20 this year already, just seems too much hassle sometimes

lol i covered that too Jody!!! I was quite suprised! MIL was adament they had to sell items at what they had advertised the price at! I informed her that infact it was an invitation to treat and you actually were making an offer to them at the till to buy it!! Strange really though pretty much all retailers will give the money back as a gesture of goodwill!!Orange Fairy

Yeah, that's strange. Didn't know about it. Never mind, I just get really upset when I go back to the till and argue over 50p or so. I assume if they advertise than they should sell it for you that price, and you shouldn't check your receipt to find any mistakes. Anyway, lesson learnt, need to buy energy drink in supermarket for 40p or so if needed
.
I used to do onepoll surveys, i stopped now. Lost motivation as it still hasn't paid out and takes forever to get some money from them. Just got an email from quidco, I got £21 this month, jippieee...
My brother is getting married in July and my mum wants a dress. She asked me to find one online but I'm rubbish at it, can anyone help where to look for? She is size 14 on top and 12 on bottom (so will go with 14), she is 56 so no young fashion pls. Wants a knee length or bit shorter dress with short sleeves, and she knows that straight line suits her. As for colour, it doesn't matter as long as it's not black or dark blue or yellow or pink. If anyone can just list me a couple of sites, I would appreciate it. thanks.0 -

Even I would have thought that a little while ago, wont stop me asking for a refund though if it goes through the till at a different price!Yeah, that's strange. Didn't know about it. That's excellant news on the cash back! I kow what you mean about onepoll although I did quite a few today, I do like that the surveys are pretty quick. A lot of the ones through VO now seem to be 75p/£1 for 15 minutes, I get the same on onepoll for less time in a sense.
Hmm, does your mum have a budget? I know M&S have some lovely dresses at the moment
Just did another 75p VO survey and sold a book on Ebay at lunch so will post that tomorrow. Went and had dinner with work mates tonight at the Harvester, I budgeted £10 and I spent £8.08 :j. My dinner was £5.99 so the drink must have been £2.09 - what an odd amount! Also decided to get some petrol on the way home, I still have just under a quarter of a tank (must be my economical driving!) so this will last me well into next week. Also got some tobacco whilst there to save me buying some tomorrow. I used to buy 20 cigs a day at just under £5 a pack , I bought a £3 bag of tobacco last Friday and only just run out so that is a BIG saving.
Feel so tired tonight so might read a bit of my book and then get an early night, starting to panic a bit about my exam, it's only a week today and I don't feel ready - eek!

Today, I argued about my green points at Tesco, although I used my own bags I was not rewarded any. The cashier lady casualy said she was forgotten to add them to my receipt. Well, I really did go to Customer services, took me two seconds to tell them what happened, awarded with 10 points instead of 2- Result
Every penny or in this case point helps xxxDon't forget smiling:):)
