Funny you should mention it, I was using the internet on OH's phone once and viewed that. Totally 'forgot' that when you open the browser it displays the last page viewed :rotfl: That was a while ago though, maybe time for another hint! lol

I wasn't actually thinking of rings when I saw it, my sister was showing me her bridal set in the H Samuel window and that was directly below it! It's her fault I'm interested (read obsessed) with all this wedding lark! :rotfl:

Loving the wedding talk..... I was secretly hoping for a bday/5yr anniversary proposal.....but nah, didn't happen That was last week.

Thing is I have the most practical boyfriend in the world who (thankfully as I don't!) thinks of everything i.e. if we get engaged could we afford to get married (with my debt nope!), children...bigger house....so on and so on....he's very sensible in that sense but then a big kid in other ways.....anyhow he often says the more I talk about it the less likely it'll happen and I asked a male colleague at work about this and he said it's true as his now fiance used to go on and on and it drove him insane and as soon as she 'shut up', so to speak, he went on to propose.....he said for him he wanted it to be a surprise and that it wouldn't have been so if he'd done it during time she was non stop talking about it. Hmmmm, food for thought!

As for rings....i'd like a simple small diamond....nothing major as i'm not big on the bling! :rotfl:Oh and will have to be plat or white gold as i'm a silver only kinda girl

Hey maybe next year we'll all be planning our weddings and announcing our proposals through this thread.....here's hoping ladies!!!!

I love that ring Jules! Tanzanite is my 2nd fave as most seem to be blue rather than purple.

Which is exactly why I talk about it non-stop to you lot and not to my OH! Because he is extremely likely to do the same :rotfl:

To be fair weddings hasn't been a subject with us for at least a month...

I think I have been quite good at home in all fairness! Last time we spoke about it was when he raised it at the wedding reception . That ring I posted was on sale in Jan, down from £550 to £375 but I think it fell on deaf ears! :rotfl:

In my defense it's all my sister's fault as it's her who's getting married and having a baby!

Another good thing is that all the wedding talk is on your thread and not mine, so if OH sees me writing on my thread he won't see all this
