Sounds very unusual Jules! I have still got my 1st engagement ring from when I was married to my Ex husband, I'll give it to DD when she is older! My other ex got me a nice diamond band, it cost a fair bit but I sold it - very MSE :rotfl:

I have actually pointed this out to OH, doubt he'd remember it though!

Hi Jody and the other ladies and gents on this thread. Spotted this a couple of weeks ago when i was looking through various diaries and think jody's fish intrigued me. I would love to keep tropical fish but the OH is not keen. How did you get into it and did you find it expensive to start/ with the electric bills?

It's taken me a fair while to get to the bottom of the posts on this one lol but sounds like you're all a lovely bunch and i would absolutely love to go to the maldives!!

Like the rest of you the marriage thing is a dodgy subject in my house. I know the OH wants to get married and have kids one day, but I don't feel ready yet so think i'm the one delaying it.
Would love to plan the whole thing but think once i realised it was me going down the ailse and stood in front of everyone i might do a Julia Roberts in runaway bride :rotfl:and i can't run very fast/far.
Getting there slowly, but parents divorce never helped my opinion. His little sister is getting hitched next July so who knows....
I did catch myself looking at pretty rings the other day in H Samuels haha sub-concious is evil sometimes :eek:
I know for a fact though that i wouldn't be whisked away to paris for a proposal though as the OH hates france....think it's an anti Man U Eric Cantona thing he has (Liverpool fan).

oooh that's lovely A colleague of mine has a trillion cut tanzanite and 2 massive diamonds on a platinum band, and sometimes in meetings I find myself being mesmerized by it!
It's a bit like this:

but the diamonds are waaay bigger and the stone is more purple

Ohhh just looked at your ring very sparkly... Looks like the crown Jewels in the Tower of London hehe!!
I'd be afraid of losing something like that or catching it on something. I would say it's a very :money: MSE price though haha.
