Backing up w995 wirelessly
I usually use MyPhoneExplorer to backup my phone, but my charging connecting is dying, it'll connect for a matter of seconds, thats all, so unable to process a full backup. Does anyone happen to know anywhere or a programn that can be used wirelessly? Mobyko has that option, but no timestamps, and you manually have to put in contact name
Any help much appriciated!

I am sure you can use sony ericsson pc suite ( the software that came with my sony ericsson ) to back up using bluetooth, which might help.0

What's wrong with the USB lead that comes with the handset?Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0

The phone connector's half dead, can't use headphones at all, and the PC cable will connect for al, of 2 seconds a time, and I have to charge a battery in my c902 to use in the phone, hence why I need to backup everything to send it for repair

Why not backup to sim / memory card ?0
-
As above really, copy all your contacts to the SIM and whatever data is on the M2 card can stay because you will remove that before you send it off for repair.
As an aside, you have confirmed that the phone does connect "for a couple of seconds" via USB, clean the contacts with an eraser and when you push the lead in - make it a "definate" push.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
Sim card will hold 10 messages, contacts are backed up online via Mobyko wirelessly, there is the option of forwarding text messages to them, but a) it doesn't give you orignal details and b) Would take forever.
As for messages - they need to have had the option selected to 'save to memory card' before recieving them, unfortunatly, I failed to change that when I last updated the software. Cleaning pins doesn't work either.
I'll try giving my old sony ericsson rep a call tomorrow, see if he knows anything, if not, i'll have to just take the hit >.<~*Cerenia*~
