    Glorious day again :)
Popped down to the market to pick up some more lettuce, cucumber and jersey royals
Dinner tonight is ..........you guessed it salad and bits and bobs already got prawns skewered and some kebabs made - so easy for me tonight - always a bonus :)
Best friend came round last night with one of her DD's and I must admit we put a quite few empty bottles in the recycling today :o But luckily no hangover:)

Her DD has asked me to be Godmother to her DD and I said I would.

DH is so in the dog house!!!!!!!!
He was in a panic last night cos he couldn't find his wallet  (again!!!!!!!! honestly he is the worlds worst  ) so after much hassle cancelling cards he found it in a jacket pocket 10 minutes after getting off of the phone
I didn't know whether to punch him or kiss him with relief
But he is on the creep today doing everything that I ask him to do... I will most certainly be milking it for all it is worth :rotfl:

Only had one load of washing today and that is already dry so I will be going to get it in soon.

Getting worried about Diva she has not posted for a while I really hope that she is ok

    Afternoon all

I have shiney new hair :D, had a good day, met friends for lunch and got few more bits for hols :o.

It's baking here too :) I've got all windows and balcony doors wide open. There are lots of families sitting by the dock and sea enjoying themselves. Looks like there maybe a triathalon on tomorrow as there are council workers putting up a stand and marking off the slipway into the dock. It will give me something to watch whilst I sunbathe on balcony anyway!

I decided to treat myself for tea and have bought lots of little tapas like bits from M&S. I never get 'posh' food and as I'm veggie I can never get the £10 deals. So I got tortilla, stuffed vine leaves, falafels and I already have in coleslaw, Hm potato salad, flatbread, tzatziki, bread sticks and tortilla chips. I'm going to make a feast and snack on it throughout the night :D

    Have a fab evening all

    Hi Guys!

Has been a bit manic here as OH & I not been well with some sort of virus and still not feeling great today, although a little better. I also had to have a small mouth operation this week and that has been giving me jip too!....I really just need shooting:D Have had an email today from one of my consultants and he wants me to go back in in 2 weeks for a week or so to monitor me as Im having a new treatment starting. I have emailed him back explaining that OH has his leg op next week and it just wont be possible, so am hoping that it can be put off a couple of weeks as it wont be fair on OH as the hospital isnt local. Still have nurses coming in twice a day to make sure i'm ok:o....I really do HATE my life sometimes:(

In between sleeping and generally feeling rubbish, I have managed to (with help of OH and my helper) tidy out and organise the big cupboard (bar 1 shelf) upstairs which is full of presents, paperwork, cards, pictures etc and have about 10 more items to Ebay. I have also finished off sorting paperwork in new units in lounge, batchcook 3 meals when OH in hospital, keep up with the washing (not ironing though:o), use up some food in the freezer that needed eating. My helper has also been keeping up with the cleaning as best she can and doing other chores for me around the house.

DD is away for the weekend and we were going to order a chinese as I cant remember when we last ahd that, but the weather is so nice, that I pursuaded OH to grab some burgers and sausages out the freezer and have a BBQ instead:j:j....he has also done some spicy couscous.

We have had a lot more family problems in the last 7-10 days, but I have now come to the conclusion that they can all S*D OFF as I need to keep well and worrying will make me more ill and nobody is worth that except my baby and OH.

We have also decided that once OH's leg is better, we are going to start a business from home that we have successfully done in the past and there is an open market locally for it.

Anyway OH has just called to say burgers are done.

Thanks for all the well wishes.

    Take care.

    PP

Good to hear from you PenPin, sorry to hear things haven't been so great, I hope you're getting on top of the virus now. Did your daughter get the work experience she had been going for? X

Hi all, hope you are all enjoying a good day, baking hot here and just waiting for the charcoal to get hot :D.Its blissfully peaceful now as DSons have gone away for the weekend,a mates 30th,so we've just sat in the garden all afternoon listening to the birds, and bathing the dog.Poor lad hates it,but he's much more fragrant now,and nice and cool.

Got some bits this morning for the barbie,so will stick those on shortly.I have been making a picnic blanket from old denim jeans, which gaveDS2 a bit of a panic this morning when he couldnt find his new ones.'You'd better not have cut them up' he muttered.I'd put them in his brothers wardrobe by mistake :rotfl:.He knows me too well-if I see something not being used I can usually find a use for it.I've also done some Union Jack cushions, currently making us comfy on the garden chairs.

Anyway DH is mithering me to decide what we are going to cook,so better go.

Penny-Pincher- the business sounds a great idea :j

Take care all of you x

She did thanks....and starts at the end of June for 2 weeks. We're very proud of her as so many kids across all the london boroughs went for it and they only had 10 or 15 places. Got invited to interview stage and got offered there and then:j:j:j:j

    Evening all,

Have just come back from barbecue in brother's house, feeling bit dozy after only 2 glasses wine, not sure what that's all about. Food was lovely as always.

Beautiful here to-day....lovelty in fact, apparently it is to be warmer to-morrow so will have to see how I can cope with that.

PenPin, sorry to hear that things are not good for you at present....your decision to think of OH, DD and yourself only is the correct one....well done to DD on getting the work experience she wanted.

Hugs to Diva, Ladygrim and all in need or want of one.

    Marie
