ITV Documentary - can you help?

ITV are making a documentary on "Britain's Best House Buys" and we are looking to hear from people who have done well in property. Especially those who have bought and sold a council house or flat, those who made money by luck or fluke and those who have unique selling points or have changed the usage etc (such as a couple who recently got planning to build a cemetary in their garden and made a million). If you have done well out of property and are interested in telling your story on television (ITV1) please get in touch. Many thanks, Jason Oates jason.oates@itv.com

Sounds like another PR Property ramping telly program coming our way. Don't you realise these programs are dead?

    Hold on: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/5270528.stm
  • Hi,

Jason's given us a little more info, this is for a 90 minute documentary to be shown later in the year on ITV1.

    Andrea :)
Could you do with a Money Makeover?

  • The few people still watching ITV1 will have found the remote and finally switched over by the time this drivel arrives.

    What next?

"Britains Best Car Buys" - bought a cheap cut-and-shut job, had it running for years, why not tell the nation?

or even "Britains Best CELEBRITY House Buys".........that really would be a ratings-puller!!

What drivel - these programs are just plain boring .

    From the link
ITV is "bargain basement" and "has become unwatchable," according to one of the channel's most senior production executives, Andy Harries.
"There is too much clutter, and it is putting people off," he said in an interview with the Guardian.

Get Ann Maurice round to sort out the programming

Not only are we fed up with programmes like this utter drivel ramping the market up, but now your taking over the forums.

This sort of cheap programming belongs on one of the obscure sky channels.

I'd quite like to hear about the cemetary one, sounds interesting to me, but then I watch very little tele and dont refuse to watch any particular channel based on its other programmes. In the same breath I like to watch house type programmes because I like buildings, not because I want to be a property millionaire ;)

Bit of moodiness on this thread isn't there, have to agree with robwend  Just thought the OP might appreciate some positivness :p
