Exchange rate shot up - will it keep going?

I don't understand how exchange rates etc work but the SA Rand has been dropping quite a bit recently but has shot up in the last 48hrs - does anyone think it'll get any better or not as am not sure whether to wait or not before i order my money for going to the world cup.

You do know that you are restricted on how many rand you are allowed to take in SA...was saying earlier this week that a lot of people are going to be caught out on this and could have any excess confiscated...Think its around the equivalent of £400 sterling

It's always a gamble when you buy foreign money, you pays your money and you takes your choice.
I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?

Haven't been recently but I've always found you get a better £ to ZAR rate over there than in the UK so the importation limit has never been a problem for me..
