Hi Need Help!h

Have been waiting for important email for 3 days. People confirm email has been sent several times and to correct email address.

I still cannot see this. sometime a message shows as phishing then disappears. Could this be the email i am after. if so who do i contact to find out where email has gone. It is not in my junk email.

Have phoned VIRGIN who seem to think i have to phone microsoft. I dont know where to start ringing them.

Any advices would be appreciated.

Cheers

You could ask them to send a blank email to you with nothing in the subject field or something in the subject field so ordinary like 'Martin' so any spam filter would pass it OK.
Another thought, they are not sending the mail from a hotmail account are they ? some ISps filter out mail from Hotmail.

    Good luck

You should give us some more informations. What email client are you using?

Did you create a rule in your email program to automatically delete spam or phishing emails? Have a look in your "deleted items" or whatever this folder is called.

BTW: spam is another word for junk...

If you're with virgin did you have an email this week asking you to alter your settings as they've "upgraded" and moved over to google mail? If you haven't altered your settings this may be the problem. There's some discussion on this on another thread if you search.

do have virgin - ntl account.

Have had blank email sent to me from company - but not receiving from other department. due to data protection they cant forward details to one department to another for forwarding.

will check the virgin account and see what it says.

Do you access your ntl mail directly or via a client like Outlook? My Outlook has a Junk email folder but sometimes Virgin filter them out before they even get there. I have to log on directly to Virgin Mail and check the Spam folder there instead. I usually make a point to do this every few weeks just in case there's anything there.
